My Approach

I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and millennials who are struggling with their current phase of life, including but not limited to job change, school, or relationship distress. I’m also experienced working within the legal system regarding issues of domestic violence, (co)parenting, and family relationships.

I use an individualized approach to help clients identify strengths, learn new ways of coping, improve communication, and resolve conflict effectively. I create a plan with my clients to not only implement, but maintain change.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I consider myself to be direct, kind, and empathetic. I use humor in practice to make the experience enjoyable, especially when talking about topics that can be uncomfortable to share with a stranger. I focus on the therapeutic alliance by building rapport and creating an environment in which you feel safe and comfortable to share.
