FAQ
-
Do you take insurance?
Currently we are in network with most major commercial insurance (Aetna, UHC, Cigna, and BCBS), using Headway and Alma for billing. Feel free to write a message using the contact form and we can check your benefits and provide an estimate regarding deductible, co-pay, etc.
-
What is your availability?
We currently follow traditional working hours, usually 9-3pm. Evening and/or weekend sessions are on a case by case basis. Please reach out and we can discuss your scheduling needs further.

I know nothing about therapy- how does it work?
Therapy is an individualized process, meaning it doesn’t look the same for everyone. There are some common elements though. Every client will be scheduled for an intake session where we spend time collecting background information, discussing practice policies, and determining a plan moving forward. Don’t worry- we are happy to walk you through the process.
-
How often are sessions?
This really depends on the individual, if they are using insurance, and finances. Typically speaking, initial sessions are weekly until the client begins making progress and decides to reduce the session frequency. Sessions need to be at least 30 minutes to bill insurance, but typically are 45-50 minutes.

Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes! Our policy states that you must cancel your session within 24 hours or you may be charged for the full cost of the session - this would be either the private pay rate or the insurance contracted rate depending on your individual situation. It is your responsibility to know what your rate is and to make sure you reach us in a timely fashion to cancel/reschedule your appt in order to avoid said fee. This fee allows us to keep running as we block off time for you that we cannot get back if you do not attend.
