Krystina Scoggins, LMSW

Supervised by David Marsden, LCSW-S

Hi, I’m Krystina Scoggins! I was born and raised in Ellis County, graduated from Waxahachie High School, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M Commerce in 2009. I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2025 and became a licensed LMSW the same year. I’m married with three kids, and we love living in Ellis County.

My Approach

I provide a compassionate and supportive space for individuals navigating life's challenges using a person-centered approach. I welcome clients age 10 and older, and I work with those facing a variety of concerns, including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, stress, anger, relationship difficulties, sexuality/infidelity, divorce, codependency, career, grief, other life transitions, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

Whether you're facing a specific crisis or seeking support through a difficult season of life, I will walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and care. My goal as your counselor is to help facilitate a deeper level of self-awareness while highlighting your strengths and empowering you with skills to use throughout your life. To do this, we will work together as we explore authenticity, connection, freedom, and purpose.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I create a calm, supportive space where clients feel heard and validated. I’m honest, kind, and understanding, and I enjoy guiding individuals, families, and couples through challenges while helping them build resilience and stronger connections.
